Here is a possible work-around for large AOL messages, sorta'
Trojan horse technique.
Instead of sending a huge HTML file, send a HTML with a
meta-redirect in it only, so for just 5-10 lines of code you may be
able to show a large file -- you would have to test on AOL to be
sure :0
In example, this is the code for a fast redirect to my sister's
herb site. As with most Internet applications, expect variance: I
sent it from my AOL account to my AOL account and it delivered me
to her web site. I sent it from my Eudora program to my Eudora
program and her web page appeared in the email, but I was not
delivered to her web site.
Here is a sample code that I sent to my sister -- I took out the
first HTML opening tag, so it doesn't automatically format your
email. To test it simply copy the lines below and insert the
proper HTML & HEAD tags and email to yourself.
-open HTML tag-
-open HEAD tag-
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
charset=windows-1252">
<title>Please visit our discounted natural herbs site</title> <meta
http-equiv="Refresh"
content="0;URL=http://www.discountnaturalherbs.com">
</head><body>
<p><b><u><a href="http://www.discountnaturalherbs.com">Please visit
our updated herb page</a></u></b></p></body>
-close HEAD tag-
-close HTML tag-
